Meal Plan for the week

Today is a rainy, cold, yucky day but represents a special day in our lives. Today, Chris and I have been married for 6 months. I cannot believe that we have already been married that long but it has been the BEST 6 months of my life! I am planning a post tomorrow to relive our wedding day.

I just got home from the grocery store and am so proud of myself. One of my goals this month is to stick to our budget and save $$. I have alloted $320 a month for groceries. I grocery shop weekly so that is $80 a week. I am happy to report that I got all of our groceries for this week for $67 and some change. We should not go out to eat for dinner or lunch either so that is awesome!! I am a little nervous about meals this week though because I am trying so many new recipes. A few weeks ago, I didn't have much success with pinterest recipes! Wish me luck!!

Sunday- Crockpot pork chops
This is a recipe that my friend Lilly told me about. It is so easy and will be (hopefully) really good! All you need is 3-4 boneless pork chops, 2 cups of chicken broth, 1 can cream of chicken, 1 packet of onion soup mix, and 1 packet of pork brown gravy mix. Put everything in the crockpot and let it cook on low for 7-8 hours. Serve over rice. MMMM!

Monday- Crockpot baked potato soup
It is suppose to be freezing here tomorrow, literally. What better meal than a yummy warm soup. Found this recipe here.

Tuesday- Chicken & red pepper pasta
This is one that I am a little nervous about but I think it will be really good. Find it here

Wednesday- Crockpot Enchiladas
This is another recipe that I am nervous about but it looks and sounds AMAZING!! I think it is the recipe I am most excited about this week! You can find it here.

Thursday- Chicken Enchilada Pasta
We've made this before and it is soooo good!! You can find it here

What's on your menu this week?
