WILW

Hello to my amazing followers! I have been slacking in the posting department because I am on vacation but I am here to link up with Jamie at This Kind of Love!! I can't wait to start reading & following the blogs of my new followers! I am still waiting for my wedding picture access but hope to have it soon (fingers crossed)! I feel like I say this every Wednesday but it is so true... I have so much in my life that I love and am thankful for!

I am loving the quality time I am spending with my sweet family, especially my hubby.

I am loving all of the good food we are eating (but not the extra pounds).

I am loving Coke Zero. I have a bad addiction to this yummy, calorie free drink! I prefer it from a can, a bottle must be poured over ice, and from a machine is my least favorite.

I am secretly loving that in a little over a week I will be teaching my new class. I am so excited about the 32 first graders that I will have!

I am loving that A&M football will be here in a few short weeks! We have season tickets & an awesome tailgate going.

Welcome to Aggieland!

Fightin Texas Aggie Band

I am loving the giveaway that Meg over at Henning Love has going for a coaster set from my Etsy shop. Check out her blog & the give away here.

As always, I am loving my sweet husband.
What are you loving on this beautiful Wednesday?

Destin

Happy Monday from Destin, FL. I hope you had a great weekend!! It is absolutely beautiful here and I am ready for a relaxing week with absolutely no plans except to eat, layout, and spend quality time with the family.

I am having to postpone the wedding picture posts. Long story short, our pictures are ready and we are suppose to have full access to them but I am waiting for that access! Just a few clicks needed by our photographer and then I will start those post.

Here are 2 pictures from our trip so far...

Beautiful water!

I hope to start the wedding post tomorrow!

Recap of my week

Hello!! Happy Friday! We are getting ready for our trip next week & I am taking a break from packing. I probably am packing enough for a month but hey, you never know what you will need so you must bring lots!!

This week has been an exciting one! I have been able to catch up with friends, shop a little, test drive a few cars, get a haircut, and get an eye exam (I need glasses).

But, the most exciting thing that happened this week was....

WE GOT OUR WEDDING PICTURES.

What does this mean for my amazing followers... all next week I will be doing a recap of our wedding. I will show my favorite pictures from getting ready, the details, the ceremony, the reception, & the honeymoon. Here are a few to hold you till next week...
I fell in love with the little white chapel as soon as I saw it.
My little sister was by my side the entire day. Love her!
Going to the chapel & were gonna get married!! :-)
My handsome hubby!

More to come next week. Have a great weekend & be safe!

wee bit Wednesday

I found another link up and decided to participate. There are now 3 link ups that I like on Wednesday. That is a lot of blogging in one day! Maybe I will rotate 1 or 2 every Wednesday. Lately I have been staying up way to late and then sleeping in way to long. I stay up half the night and then sleep half the morning. I need to get in a better routine. School starts in a week and a half and this routine obviously will not work for that!

Leigh from Leigh Ashley post 10 random questions every Wednesday. This is a great way to learn about some of your followers. Here are the questions and my answers. Link up next Wednesday!

{one} what was one thing that you valued when you were a kid?
Time with my grandparents. I would spend a month or two of the Summer with them. Great memories!

{two} what was your favorite (+ lease favorite) subject in school?
I loved math (minus geometry)! I wanted to teach it but quickly changed my mind. I did not enjoy english. I am not a good writer nor do I enjoy being given a topic to write about. That's why I blog... I can write about anything I want, when I want, and nobody will critique it (out loud at least).

{three} do you remember your first love?
I had a few boyfriends during high school but was never in love. May have said it but didn't mean it. I married my first true love so of course I remember him :-)

{four} what one pet would you love to have?
I have a dog and would love to have another. Boring answer maybe but they bring me much happiness.

{five} would you rather live in the country or in the city?
I would love to have land when I am older but for now I like living right outside of the city. Not in the middle of all of the crazy downtown madness but close enough if I need to go there.

{six} what do you love about blogging?
My few followers (hoping for more) & being able to express myself anyway and time I want!

{seven} what is the first website you visit everyday?
Sadly, facebook. I have a serious addiction. I visit many websites daily though. Email, facebook, blogger, pinterest, etsy ( I just opened my own shop, more info to come).

{eight} will you or have you joined google+?
I have not but I have heard it is overrated... I would like to try it out for myself sometime.

{nine} what is your favorite scent of candle/air freshener?
Hmm, I like a lot of scents so I will go with my favorite brand which is Circle E. Amazing candles!! My favorite scent currently is something like Birds of Paradise.

{ten} how would you describe your style?
Simple. I find a pair of pants I like & buy them in every color. Same with shoes. I like to shop at Banana Republic, The Limited, J Crew, Ann Taylor, Ann Taylor Loft, Gap & a few others here and there.

Fun Giveaway!

I just came home from laying out at the pool. OMG it is so hot out there. I only lasted 2 hours but of course am burnt!

Hillary over at A Gal & Her Dog is having an awesome give away that you should go enter. Super cute earrings, a cute frame for any wall & a $20 gift card. Who doesn't love Target?!?

Check it out!

WILW

It's Wednesday and time to link up with Jamie at This Kind of Love.
I am loving that I will be at the beach for a week with my husband and family. Here are pictures from our last trip to Destin (minus my husband).

I am loving that I may be getting a new car. We brought home the camaro for a few days & it really isn't the car for me. This is...
I had one, got rid of it, regret it, and want another one. Is that stupid? The one I am looking at would be the smoky granite mica color. I had silver before & it was beautiful but the granite is my favorite.

I am loving that my guided reading presentation is over! It went awesome minus the technology not working right.

I am loving that I have cooked at home 2 nights in a row. Both dinners were super easy and I boiled enough chicken the first night to use the second night so it was quick! (Don't let the awful pictures steer you away from trying the amazing recipes)

Chicken Enchiladas (with plenty of leftovers)
Chicken Rollup found here
I am loving my husband and am hoping he will come around to the idea of me getting this car.

Lighting is funky but getting excited for football/tailgating season and love the picture!

What are you loving today?

Inservice and Car...

I am a dual language teacher that has a very hard time telling anyone no. Back in May, our dual language coordinator emailed me asking if I would present at the dual language inservice in August. I of course said yes (because remember I don't say no) and put it in the back of my head. Sunday, July 31st, came around and I realized that I had to present in 2 DAYS! I had planned nothing. So, today was spent planning a 45 minute session about how to effectively do a guided reading lesson in a dual language classroom. Say a prayer for me around 2:30 tomorrow... that is when I have to present.

I have been thinking a lot about a new car. Do I need one... NO! Do I want one... YES! Do I know what kind... not 100%... until today. I love my Murano but I have this itch to get one last super fun, fast car while I can afford it and am childless.

My wonderful husband text messaged me today and said that he had a surprise for me. I thought flowers, jewelry, a puppy. I was wrong. I come home and he has this beauty in the driveway...

*That's me in it*

I drove it home from a few errands we needed to run and it was amazing! I would not get that color (nothing against it, just not my fav.) But I would get black. Here is my new love (minus the red stripe)...

I have the approval from my husband (which is really the one that has been pushing this car), my dad, my little brother, and a few friends. I don't want to get this car unless I am 100% sure. Ideally I would like to keep this car for more than 2 years.

Need your opinion, what do you think??
