I'm loving that this is my third day to have absolutely nothing that I HAVE to do!

I'm loving that my professor surprised us last night by letting us stay late at class and not have to come on Thursday which means...

I AM FINISHED WITH MY MASTER'S

I am loving that in a few short weeks this amazing place is opening less than a mile from my apartment (not looking good for my calorie counting!)

I am loving that two weeks from this Saturday I will be in Destin, Florida for a week with my family.

Nook Color

A few friends and I went out to celebrate the end of teaching Summer school. It was a great last day and after we celebrated...I should have gone straight home! Instead, two of us girls went to run some errands. The first lace we went was Barnes & Noble. I really wanted to get "The Help" and I had a gift card I was planning to use. When we walked in the store they conveniently had a guy talking about the Nook's. I had thought about getting one in the past but wasn't sure if I would use it as much as I thought I would. Well, he was a great sales person and I am the new owner of a Nook Color.

Awesome! 

Now that I have it (& plan to keep it), I am in need of some book recommendations. 

I went in for The Help and have since purchased it for my Nook but what other books would you recommend?

Houston wedding shower

Happy Sunday! For the past month I have really hated Sunday's because that meant I had to get up and go teach Summer school Monday morning. Well, I am happy to say that Friday was the last day of Summer school so I am free for a few weeks. Almost free, I have 2 grad school classes left and then I am also finished with my Master's of Administration. I had a lot of productive plans for this weekend while H was out of town but those went down the drain when a friend invited me to go out on the boat with a few other friends. It was a blast and worth not getting my to-do list done....

I have been meaning to post about my amazing Houston wedding shower. I am so thankful to have amazing friends and family. A few of my bridesmaids really made me feel special and did an amazing job organizing my Houston wedding shower. Here are a few pictures from the awesome day. I still cannot believe that we have been married for 6 weeks and a day. I can honestly say that it has been a few of the best weeks of my life thus far!

10 Things I Want...

I am kinda in a blog funk. I have so much going on in life right now that is keeping me busy but I am trying to keep to my goal of posting! Leah @ Happily Hitched is continuing with her 10 Things theme. Yesterday she did a 10 Things I Want post. There are a lot of things I want so here we go.... Some of these things are more reasonable than others!

I need a comfy pair of flats that I can wear to teach in.

I am obsessed with this new skin care line I found. I will be purchasing this with my Summer school check.

I need a new brown purse.

I don't really need an iPad but it would be put to good use!

This is in the works. I have wanted a puppy for a long time and this is the kind we plan to get in the future.

Love this car! I had an IS that was perfect but to small. I think this would be the perfect size!

Good Morning! Today is hump day which also means there are only 2 more days of Summer school. Then I am free!!!

I have a few post that I need to catch up on and hope to do that tonight or tomorrow. I have a couple questions about this whole Blogger thing. I got a new email address after we got married and I really want to use it when logging in and when I receive notifications because I don't check the other one often. Does anyone know how or if I can change the email address associated with my blog? Also, this may be a silly question but I, for the life of me, cannot figure out how to write a post and then schedule it to be posted on a later day. Any tips??

I am loving that I only have 2 days (after today) left of Summer School. I have enjoyed some days and others have been tough. I am ready for my Summer break.
